This client had such a fear of flying that, over the years, her phobia had extended to all forms of travel.
She would suffer with extreme anxiety before any trip – which sometimes tipped over into full-blown panic attacks – and she often became physically sick, far beyond what most of us understand ‘travel sickness’ to be.
During therapy we discovered that what she was ultimately afraid of was dying in a catastrophic accident. When it came to flying, the claustrophobia she felt inside the cabin of a plane heightened her fear and anxiety to such an extent that she’d simply given up going away.
Happily, after brief therapy with BWRT, she was soon off on her travels without any fear or sickness – and she even took time out of her trip to send me the lovely message below.
I was reminded of this client recently and so I’m re-publishing her testimonial. With Spring and Summer on the way, people who fear flying are starting to think about holidays and I’m beginning to get lots of enquiries.
If this sounds like you, I hope this brings reassurance that it is possible to overcome and you could be flying off to your dream destination sooner than you think:
If you have a fear of flying, or any other form of travel, please do get in touch to discuss how I can help.
