Therapy for Teenagers and Young People
Claire has been a specialist youth worker for more than twenty years years.
Qualified at degree level, and with extensive experience in many settings, in the past she has managed youth services for the Royal Air Force in Cyprus and teams of social workers in Cardiff, Essex and London.
Claire is an approved therapist with the Prince’s Trust and the YMCA.
“Just to let you know that we had a meeting of the project staff in Essex last week and there was some really great feedback about the work you’ve done with some of our young people. The mentors have reported some huge changes in the young people which is fantastic to hear.“
Social media opens up a world of opportunities.
Unfortunately, although new knowledge and wonderful experiences can be gained in an instant, lots of young people fall prey to cyber bullying, sexting and other forms of exploitation.
If you are the victim of online bullying, sexting or any other kind of abuse, this can impact on your general health in many ways.
Anxiety, depression, panic attacks, lack of confidence and poor self-esteem are just some of the problems which therapy can help to resolve.
Achieving Your Full Potential with Benefit Therapy
Benefit Therapy will help you break through the barriers standing between you and your future success and happiness.
This could mean overcoming a fear, phobia or some kind of anxiety. Or we might work together to develop your confidence and unique identity, or build on achievements already won, such as improving academic results or sporting performance.
Here are two case studies, the first is about an ambitious gymnast who resolved his fear of doing a backwards handspring with just one session of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT®): Fear of Success; the second describes how a young woman moved on from clinical depression and anxiety after a brief treatment programme of BWRT®: Clinical Depression
Whatever the problem is, Benefit Therapy provides a free and confidential consultation to discuss how Claire can help you. All enquiries are welcome.
Passionate about helping young people to build rich and rewarding lives, last year Claire raised nearly £2000 for the YMCA in Southend, Essex, with her friend Tamara. Read about their Cornish adventure here: Southend YMCA
